This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use Bisnexus ("the Service"), our cloud-based accounting and business management platform, while ensuring transparency and compliance with Indian legal standards, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Blue Peacock Technologies LLP operates in the following capacities with respect to your data:

Data Fiduciary (Controller)

For account-related, administrative, and platform usage data: we determine the purpose and means of processing this data.

Data Processor

For your business's financial data (invoices, transactions, ledgers): we process this data on your behalf and under your instructions.

03Accounting & Business Integrations

Bisnexus may integrate with third-party services to enhance your accounting experience. When you enable these integrations, we collect and process information necessary for the integration, including:

  • GST Portal: GSTIN verification, GST return filing data, and input tax credit details as authorized by you
  • Banking & Payment Gateways: Bank account details, transaction feeds, and reconciliation data
  • Tally & Other Accounting Software: Import/export of financial records, chart of accounts, and journal entries
  • E-invoicing (IRP/NIC): Invoice data submitted for e-invoice generation as required under GST law
Note: Integration data is processed only with your explicit authorization and in accordance with the third-party service's terms.

When you use Bisnexus, we automatically collect certain information to improve our services, ensure security, and provide a better user experience:

  • Device information (type, operating system, browser)
  • IP address and approximate geolocation
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration)
  • Essential functional cookies necessary for platform operation
  • Interaction and behavioral analytics via Microsoft Clarity
  • Error logs and performance diagnostics
Cookie Management: We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We only use pure functional and essential cookies (including analytical telemetry handled securely via Microsoft's data compliance safeguards) without which the application cannot function. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may limit your ability to use certain features of the platform.

We may receive information from third-party sources to verify your business details and enhance our service delivery:

  • Business verification data from government registries (MCA, GST Portal)
  • Transaction data from banking and payment partners
  • Tax-related data from authorized tax portals
  • Referral information from business partners

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Providing and managing your accounting services
  • Processing invoices, transactions, and financial reports
  • Facilitating GST return filing and tax compliance
  • Communicating service updates and important notices
  • Ensuring platform security and preventing fraud
  • Complying with legal obligations under Indian law
  • Performing internal analytics to improve our services
  • Providing customer support and resolving issues
No Automated Profiling: We do not subject your data to purely automated decision-making or profiling for creditworthiness, loans, or marketing.

08Sharing of Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Supabase/AWS), payment processors (Razorpay), and communication services that help us operate the platform
  • Tax Authorities: As required by the Income Tax Act, 1961 and GST Act, 2017: we may share financial data with government authorities upon lawful request
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with court orders, legal proceedings, or enforceable government requests
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to you
  • With Your Consent: For any purpose explicitly authorized by you
We never sell your personal or financial data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Important: The right to erasure is limited for financial records that must be retained under the Income Tax Act (8 years) and GST Act (6 years). We will inform you of any such limitations when you make a request.

12Security of Personal Information

13Data Storage & Location

Your data is stored on servers located in India (Mumbai, ap-south-1 region) via our cloud infrastructure provider. We are committed to keeping your financial data within India.

In limited cases, certain platform services (such as content delivery and edge computing) may process requests through servers outside India. However, your persistent financial and personal data remains stored in India, and any such processing is conducted with appropriate safeguards as permitted under the DPDP Act, 2023.

14General Provisions

  • Governing Law: This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
  • Children's Privacy: Bisnexus is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this policy will first be attempted to be resolved through mediation before being referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
